Noel Neill is a sweeter Lois Lane, whom she first plays in the two 15-chapter movie serials in 1948 and 1950. Here she is with Kirk Alyn in a scene from chapter 6 of the first serial SUPERMAN. (Thirty years later, both are cast in brief cameos as the train passenger parents of an adolescent Lois Lane during the Smallville sequence of Superman: the Movie as young Clark runs home from school. Alyn is out of frame in the film's final cut, but Neill is clearly evident.) |
